Industrial Engineering

Key part especially of technically more complex production plants. A set of individual technologies necessary for planning industrialisation and production introduction. We see this part as a great opportunity to link up with our IT division to digitalize production plants or their sub-units.

At Rubicon, we are able to handle all stages of industrialization planning: from the decision (Capital request/Decision request) to the actual installation and start-up (Ramp Up).

We see the ability to get to know in detail the product that will be produced or is already being produced on a given technology/industrialization as key elements for the success of any industrialization. This means going through the end customer (OEM) requirements and understanding all the product features after detailed discussion with the RnD and the technology department of that manufacturer. Based on available product analyses (e.g. D-FMEA) or manufacturability analyses (Design for Manufacturing), we create detailed/specific Operational Equipment Lists (OELs) as a basis for investment in the planned industrialization. In parallel, we are able to create a capacity analysis and determine the bottleneck of production. This capacity planning also includes the creation of further growth options according to customer requirements and possible developments. We are able to define exactly how much and in which technology will need to be invested in case of a specific percentage growth of the manufactured product - including the verification of availability and the creation of a preliminary launch plan/operational schedule.
